SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 Declared

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination 2024. Candidates can now check their results on the official SSC website, ssc.nic.in. The Tier 1 exam, conducted earlier this year, serves as the preliminary stage for various Group B and Group C posts in the central government.

Key Points from the Results Announcement:

  1. Cutoff Marks and Selection: The SSC has announced separate cutoff marks for different posts, such as Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator (SI). These cutoffs were determined using normalized scores due to the examination being conducted in multiple shifts.
  2. Next Stage – Tier 2: Candidates who have qualified in Tier 1 will now move to the Tier 2 examination. The tentative dates for the Tier 2 exam are January 18–20, 2025. Further updates regarding Tier 2 will be available on the SSC website.
  3. Answer Key Updates: SSC evaluated candidate objections regarding the provisional answer keys. The revised answer keys were used for finalizing the results. Final answer keys and individual scorecards (for both qualified and non-qualified candidates) will be published soon.
  4. Steps to Check the Results:
    • Visit ssc.nic.in.
    • Navigate to the “Results” section and select the CGL tab.
    • Download the PDF file containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates.
    • Search for your roll number to confirm qualification.

Advice for Candidates:

Candidates should ensure they download their scorecards when available and start preparing for the Tier 2 exam. Detailed information about the syllabus, exam pattern, and preparation tips can be found on the official website and other educational resources.

For direct access to the result and cutoff details, visit the official SSC portal. Stay updated with any announcements to ensure you don’t miss critical deadlines.
